Stephen A. Lagoy

June 2, 1955 — April 13, 2022

Stephen A. LaGoy, 66, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Wednesday April 13th. He was born on June 2, 1955 in Peru, NY son of the late Francis and Ines (Wheeler) LaGoy. He grew up in Albany, NY where he met his beloved wife of 46 years, Bonnie (Tielking) LaGoy. Their relationship is the foundation to the family they created that cherished every moment. The loving couple gave birth to 3 children, Blake(Kim) LaGoy of Clay, Bambi (Christina) LaGoy of Clay, and Brittnie (Matt) Dygert of North Syracuse. He was not only a devoted, deeply loving, hardworking husband and father but was also an amazing Grampie to his 7 grandchildren; MiKayla, Rhianna (with whom he will be joining in Heaven), Blake Jr., Sage, Skye, Caleb and Colton. He is survived by his sister Mary Ellen (Mike) Rielly as well as several nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Siena College he worked for 43 years at Lockheed Martin. Once retired he enjoyed spending his free time with his wife and family; his family meant the world to him and he was their everything. He looked forward to his warm sunny afternoon rides with Bonnie listening to Classic Rock in his racing yellow 21' Porsche that was well deserved after decades of hard work. He also enjoyed the weekend family dinners with his children and grandchildren where so much love and laughter lived. His family will forever cherish the memories of him. They want him to be remembered as the loving, kind man that he was until his last breath.
The family is beyond heartbroken and devastated over the loss of such an amazing man.

The family has decided to honor him with a private service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name (and his dog of 16 years, Bandit) to the Humane Society where his love for animals can be shared.
