Stephen Wm. Kosturik

Stephen Wm. Kosturik, 74, of Fabius, passed away February 3, 2023. Stephen was born in Johnson City, New York on August 13, 1948 to Joseph and Anna Kosturik. Stephen was employed with JPW Companies for 26 years as a steel fabricator and welder. He was a hard worker. Stephen was an avid camper. He and his wife Cindy enjoyed spending time camping at various places across New York, including their camp in the Thousand Island Region. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the races, watching sports, and riding his can-am on their property. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Stephen was preceded in death by, his parents Joseph and Anna Kosturik; brother, Joseph Kosturik; sisters, Theresa and Angela; and aunt Agatina Cacciola.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cindy Kosturik; children, Michael Kosturik, Scott Kosturik, Stephen Kosturik Jr., Jason (Amy) Kaschel, Mark Kosturik, and Jessica (Jeffrey) MacKenzie; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings, Phyllis (Joe) Speed and Raymond Kosturik; aunt Antoinette Cacciola; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11-1PM with a funeral service to follow at 1PM at Pompey Community Church, 2555 Berwyn Rd, Lafayette, NY 13084, with Pastor Dan Werthman officiating. A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the funeral service.
