Stella A. Prest, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday at Crouse Hospital with her husband by her side. She was born on October 22, 1938 in Dansville, NY to the late Frank and Anna Bissell. A devoted wife and mother, Stella battled illness for many years but her unwavering faith in God, courage and strong will to live along with the love & support of family and friends allowed her to enjoy a happy and fulfilled life. Stella was an avid gardener, wonderful cook and a devoted NY Yankees fan.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Art of 50 years, her son Art, Jr., of Las Vegas, her cousin Carmella Dalton, along with many close friends and wonderful neighbors.
Services will be held on Saturday 10am at Woodlawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Stella's family wishes to thank the staff at Crouse Hospital ICU for their wonderful care.
