Stanley J. Leschinski died unexpectedly on February 17, 2023.
He was born and raised in Duryea, PA and was predeceased by his parents Peter and Helen, sisters Stella Reddington and Helen Pirkowski, and brothers Joseph, Edward and Charles. Stanley graduated from Duryea High School and served in the US Navy during the Korean War as a medic and OR tech.
He retired as a manager from NYNEX after 35 years of service. In retirement he enjoyed organic gardening, violin making and creative woodworking. He was a devoted family man, and is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years Rose Ann (King), daughters Karen Gooding and Elaine Wolff, and grandchildren, Evan, Megan, Hanna and Jenna Gooding, Samantha and Nicholas Wolff, and sister Jenny Succio.
Donations in Stanley's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
