Stanley R. Latz, 83, of North Syracuse, passed away on December 27, 2021. He was born on February 12, 1938 to George and Eveline Latz in Rochester, NY.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Virginia Latz; daughter, Michelle (Michael) Dean; son, Michael Latz; 4 step-daughters, Joanne DelBalso, Jill (Matthew) Szczerba, Janice (Michael) Kinsella and Judy (Len) Swisher; brother, Charles Latz; 2 sisters, Joan Bates and Faith Phillips; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

He was a welder at OM Edwards until they closed and later worked for Syracuse City School District as the Maintenance Supervisor until his retirement in 1995. Stanley enjoyed traveling to Florida, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 5th 10 am-12 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12 pm. Burial will immediately follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
