Stanley C. Jakubowski

Stanley C. Jakubowski, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, May 12th peacefully at his home of 50 years, with his loving family by his side.
Stan graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1971. He worked at P&C, Wegmans, and Tops Markets. He was also a manager at Carl’s Drug store for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary (Campilango). They enjoyed spending their days just being together with their family. Some of their fondest memories are of them traveling south in the family wagon. Stan is also survived by his four children, Janice (Todd Martino), Melissa (Miller), Amy (Joseph Kohanski), and Cynthia (Johnny Huddleston) and seven grandchildren, Dominick, Evan, Lila, JJ, Mary, Mallory and Ella.
He adored his children and grandchildren more than anything in the world and loved talking about them to everyone he knew. They were together as a family constantly.
Stan is also survived by his sisters Linda (Reifsnyder) and Carol (Cass).
He is predeceased by his parents Carl and Harriet Jakubowski and sister Barbara (Vittore).
The family will be holding a private service.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, those who wish to express sympathy consider donating to the American Cancer Society.
