Shirley A. Stone

Shirley A. Stone, 78 , of Central Square, passed away March 13, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born in Caughdenoy, New York on November 13, 1938 to the late Eddie and Lavilla Walts. Shirley retired from Central Square Central Schools in 1999. She was a member of Parish United Methodist Church and past member of Hastings VFD Aux. and Trustee of Carley Mills Cemetery Association.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Beryl Stone Sr., grand-daughter Cheryl Ann Stone, 7 brothers and 3 sisters; She is survived by Son, Beryl (Kimberly) Stone, Jr., Daughter, Cheryl (Brian) Parker, Son Bruce (Myrna) Stone, Daughter, Donna (Mike) Weaver, Son, Gerald (Mary) Stone, Son, David (Carrie) Stone, Sister, Marion Burchill, Sister, Betty Goessl; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Saturday from 12- 2pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main, North Syracuse, where memorial services will be held at 2pm with Rev Richard Barling officiating. Interment at Carley Mills Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers contributions maybe made to Carley Mills Cemetery.
