Shirley J. (Falter) Radford, 87, formerly of North Syracuse, joined her husband of 50 years, Michael W. Radford, Sr., on Saturday. She was surrounded by her loving family when she passed. She was born on October 6, 1926 in Fairmount, daughter of Carl and Julia Falter. She was employed for over 25 years at CE Chappells in Syracuse. She enjoyed baking, traveling and most importantly, her grandchildren.
Surviving is her son, Mickey (Valerie), Jr., 6 grandchildren: Michael (Sue) Radford, Terri (David) Thomas, Tracy (Ron) Ince, Mark Radford, Michael (Carrie) Cook, Shauna (Greg) Lloyd, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 10-12pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow. Burial will take place following services at North Syracuse Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
