Shirley (Liesche) Francis, born February 1, 1933, passed away peacefully on Monday morning and went to be with the Lord.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley worked at G.E. for 19 years as a group leader and later retired from Rollway Bearing where she worked as a Supervisor for 29 years. She enjoyed hunting, camping, gardening and traveling with her husband, Dick. Later in life, Shirley became a devout Christian with the Church of God organization where she attended nearly every Sunday.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Richard Francis and her brother, Ernest Liesche.
Shirley is survived by 2 sons, Scott and Robert (Diana); grandsons, Erich, Nicholas and Shaun; sister, Patricia Liesche; niece, Tracy and nephews, Richard and Michael.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a Memorial Service at 6:30PM.
A graveside service will be Tuesday 11AM in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Red Cross.
