Shirley I. Ransom, 88, passed away on Thursday, with her loving family by her side.
Shirley worked most of her life at Howard Johnsons in Mattydale.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert and her son Bob.
Shirley is survived by her son, Gregory (Melony) Ransom, her grandchildren; Crystal (David) Walsh, Christine Ransom, Steven Ransom, Carl Ransom, step grandchildren; Kristen Carno & Megan Near, and niece Donna McHugh.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday October 25, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
A funeral service will be held Monday October 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Mapleview Cemetery, Mexico.
