Shirley Ann Desocio-O'Hern

Shirley Ann DeSocio-O'Hern, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Cottages at Garden Grove. She was a loving Mom and a great Nani. Shirley worked at Fortino's Florist of Fayetteville for 40 years. She was dedicated to her family and always had an open door policy. Shirley was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband, Garry O'Hern in 1988, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Shirley is survived by her children, Marsha (Michael) Fedele, Susan DeSocio and David (Stacey) DeSocio;
7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her special niece, Susan Cortright.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 22nd 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to immediately follow.

Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
