Sherman "Sherm" Thomas Eighmey, 58, passed away Saturday morning, September 22, 2018. Born on May 29, 1960, to Sherman and Santina Eighmey.

Sherman grew up in North Syracuse, NY. He worked at General Electric and then Lockheed Martin until his retirement. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and trapping. Sherman was predeceased by his parents and brother Gordy.

He is survived by his loving fiance, Alice Wentworth; two sons, Mitchell and Tyler (Margaret); grandchildren, Carmine and Francis; siblings, Diane Kenny (George), Ronald (Barbara), Donald; extended family and many special friends.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 27, from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212, with a memorial service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, or the American Comrades, helping veterans and active military hunt, 1151 Powerhouse Rd., Memphis, NY, 13112.
