Sheila Rabe Crowell, 59, of North Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home, surrounded by loving family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 4, 1949, Sheila was a lifelong resident of North Syracuse, and worked as a private in-home caregiver for senior citizens. She loved spending time at her camp, fishing, planting flowers, NASCAR racing, spending time with family and friends, and taking long rides in the country with her husband.

Sheila is survived by her devoted loving husband of 28 years; Ron Crowell, her son; John Winslow, Jr. (Mel Bergman), sisters; Deb Rabe (Kathy Fiello), Linda (Gary) Coffey, Libby (Wes) Woolridge, Sue (Don) Cummins, brothers Jim (Margie) Letham, John Letham, several nieces and nephews, loyal loving friends, and her cat Paws.

Services will be held on Saturday at 4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-4 PM, before the service, at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
