Sheila A. (Kelly) Hahn, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse to the late William and Mary Kelly. Sheila began work as a switchboard operator at Westinghouse Electric in Syracuse where she met her husband, Al. She spent the remainder of her career as a secretary working at The Onondaga County District Attorney's Office and North Syracuse Central Schools for the last 38 years, most recently Roxboro Road Middle School. Sheila loved spending time with her family, cooking, spending summers on the St. Lawrence River and snowmobiling in Old Forge.
Sheila is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Alan; three daughters, Kelly Hahn, Lisa (Michael) Picciano and Martha (Peter) Quinn; seven grandchildren; Chelsea and Brittany Zangari, Delaney, Cassidy and Anthony Picciano, Taylor and Ashley Quinn; sister, Nancy Carter; nieces, Tracy and Katie; nephew, Tim and "son", Wayne Neuenhoff and family.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
