Shawn E. Longo, 35, beloved and adored son of the predeceased Suzanne E. Hedrick, a loving father and devoted brother passed away Saturday in West Palm Beach, Florida. Shawn was a life resident of Syracuse, currently residing and working in Florida as a master Carpenter on many of South Florida's more prestigious projects. .
Shawn is survived by his source of pride and joy, his son, Anthony Nicholas Longo, two sisters who revered and cherished him, Tina (Jim) Sinopoli of Syracuse and Claudine Longo of Syracuse as well as his dear niece and nephews, Danielle Cesta, James Sinopoli and Michael Sinopoli.
Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions are be accepted by the family for Shawn's son Anthony. Messages of sympathy may be left at newcomerfamily.com.
