Shawn B Kimball Sr.

Shawn B. Kimball Sr, 23, of North Syracuse, passed away on November 1, 2020. Shawn was born in Syracuse on May 20, 1997. Shawn worked for Nelson Tree Service and also had his own business, Kimball Tree Removal and Trimming. He was predeceased by grandfather, Louis "Tim" Kimball, III. Shawn enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children. He loved playing football growing up and was a Philadelphia Eagles Fan. Shawn was always one to tell a joke and make everyone laugh. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his two sons, Shawn Kimball, Jr., Saiah Kimball; daughter, Sophia Kimball, his mother Tina Kimball, step-dad, James Jacobs, father Terence McGriff, five brothers, Timothy Kimball, Michael Wright, Anthony McGriff, Eric McGriff, Jordan McGriff; sister, Jameisha Jacobs; grandmother, Victoria (Stephen) Solitto; two aunts, Antoinette (Gregg) Talarico, Michelle Dixon; three uncles, John Dixon, Louis Kimball, IV, Anthony Patterelli, along with several nieces and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.

Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
