Sharon Lee Rose, 77, of Syracuse departed peacefully into the arms of her heavenly Father on Friday July 8, 2022. Sharon was born in Syracuse on June 20, 1945 and was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Mary Plumpton.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 19 years Richard Rose, her daughter Kristen Pikarsky (John), her son Martin Uczen (Jennifer), granddaughters Audrey, Macy, and Madison, grandson Britton and many lifelong friends.
Sharon found joy in working with children, and retired from Tutortime Learning Center. She was fond of the arts including theater, dance, painting, and drawing. She enjoyed performing in local plays and most notably a local production of "Anything Goes"
Sharon had a big heart for people, and it was present throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and caring friend. Her memories, her love, her hope, will never be forgotten by those who knew her. She will be greatly missed and forever celebrated.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 18 from 4 pm -7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY. Services on Tuesday July 19, 11 am at the funeral home with burial taking place at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
