Sharon Lee (Cannon) Major

May 2, 1950 — June 10, 2016

Sharon Lee (Cannon) Major, 66, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, surrounded by her family.

Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was an avid SU fan. Sharon was an animal lover, especially her furry four-legged animals. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Marguerite and Bernard Cannon and a brother, Donald Cannon.

She is survived by her dog, Lucy; two children, Kenneth (Catherine) Major and Heather Poli; five grandchildren, Shayne Major, Kyle Lambie, Gabrielle Major, Allison Major and Caraline Major; four siblings, David (Cynthia) Cannon, Karleen Urbaniak, Daniel Cannon and Matthew Cannon and ten nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday 4-8PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.

A funeral mass will be held Friday 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
