Sharon K. Jackson

Sharon K. Jackson, 79, of North Syracuse, passed away October 1, 2024. 

Sharon was born in Syracuse, New York on March 11, 1945 to the late Cornell and Katherine Bell. 

She worked many years for the Cicero-North Syracuse school district. Previously a member of the American Legion Post 1832. In her earlier years she enjoyed dancing, traveling and camping with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, specifically making blankets for everyone she knew. She was an avid collector of Danielle Steele books and she could often be found watching her Hallmark movies. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornell Bell and Katherine Dombroski; husband, David Jackson; sister, Katherine Searle; brothers, Cornell Bell and Frank Bell. She is survived by her children, Traci (Patrick Joe) Mowry, Terri (Frank Lanzafame) Mowry, Tina (Dave) Abbott, Tammy (Gene) Kadlubowski, Robert (Michelle) Trentmann; brothers, Alan Dombroski, James West, David Dombroski, John Dombroski, Thomas Dombroski; sisters, Joan Stone, Anne Walts; Nine grandchildren, Kristy Mowry, Jack Trentmann, Victoria Jackson, Robert Trentmann, Austin Mowry, Tyler Mowry, Savannah Gamble, Eathon Weatherford, Dawson Weatherford; as well as many Great Grandchildren. 

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday October 20th from 1-6 PM at Arrowhead Lodge at 9248 McKinley Ridge Rd, Brewerton, NY 13029.

Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
