Sharon M. Hoey

Sharon M. Hoey, 68, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Upstate University Hospital. Sharon was born in Rochester, NY on December 4, 1954 daughter of the late John and Betty Dillingham. Sharon was a registered nurse and was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital. She also traveled the country as a nurse manager for US Nursing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as they referred to her as NaNi. Most of all she loved cooking and baking for her family. Sharon always enjoyed a nice glass of wine with her gourmet chocolate.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, John Hoey, Sr., her 2 brothers, Michael Dillingham and Timmy Dillingham.

She is survived by her sons, John (Teresa) Hoey, Jr., Jason Hoey, Jerrad Hoey, Justin Hoey, her grandchildren, Alexandria, Jaide, Madison, Michael, Jamin, Trenton and Jordan, great grandchild, Jace, her siblings; Melissa Stafford, Jackie Miller, Patrick Dillingham, Shawn Dillingham, Colleen Moon and Mary Simard, also her 2 dogs; Maxer Waxer and Jaker Baker, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 1st from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. North Syracuse, with a prayer service to be held at 7pm.
