Sharon J. Hirsch, 77 of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25th, 2022. Born on April 26th, 1944 in Scranton, PA to the late Harold and Jane Masters.
She was a Sr. Correctional Officer for over 20 years at Jamesville Correctional Facility. Sharon had many beloved friends and family, including several loving cousins.
Most of all she took great pride being a mother and grandmother. She filled the hearts of many with her warm smile and generous spirit.
She is survived by her children, Chauncine (Tony) Kennedy, Thomas (Jennifer) Newton and Casey (Melissa) Newton-McLaren; grandchildren, Courtney and Zachary Kennedy, Allison and Tommy Newton; brother, Rodney (Carleen) Masters and her beloved poodle, Shadow.
Predeceased by her husband, Wayne Hirsch and mother-in-law, Julia Hirsch.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Wednesday, March 30th from 4-7pm. Private burial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends Forever Animal Rescue, 174 Gristwood Road, Pennellville, NY 13132 or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
