Sharon Linda Appleton, 70, of Constantia, passed away on Monday night peacefully at Upstate Hospital.
She was raised in Constantia and graduated from Central Square Schools. She then went on to Geneseo and graduated as an elementary teacher. She taught for 40 years. She was an active fixture of the North Shore Communities. Sharon enjoyed local history, traveling and casino trips.
She was predeceased by her mother, Thelma Goodale.
Surviving are her husband David of 43 years, her son, Jeremy (Mindy), grandson, William, and her father, Norman Goodale.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 1-4pm & 6-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with sharing of memories at 8pm.
Contributions may be made to the Central Square Public Library.
