Shannon F. Blumer, 45, of Cicero, passed away on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Shannon was born on October 24, 1971 the daughter of Charles and Florence Felt.
She was devoted to her two children, encouraging them to reach their fullest potential as scholars, athletes and human beings, as well as broadening their appreciation of geek culture.
Shannon is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Robert; children Nathan and Eleanor Blumer; mother Florence Felt; and Sister Meagan (Jeremy) Vanderover.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a sharing of memories to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Shannon would want you to honor her memory by treating all humans with kindness, respect and dignity. She would further ask that you support the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the evil Galactic Empire.
