Shannon Marie Barry

Shannon Marie Barry, 49, of North Syracuse, passed away April 27, 2024 surrounded by family. Shannon was born in Syracuse, NY on March 5, 1975 to Janet Barry (nee Firlik) and James D. Barry. Shannon was employed by the North Syracuse Schools Transportation Dept., as a bus attendant. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, Megan, Melissa, Zachary and Dylan. Shannon loved American Idol and would frequently attend their concerts. She also loved cows and had an extensive collection.

Shannon is survived by her mother, Janet Barry; sister, Stephanie (Gary) Stuff and their children, Megan, Melissa, Zachary and Dylan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday May 7, 2024 from 5-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, North Syracuse. A private burial will be scheduled at the family's convenience.
