Sean P. Cronin, 49, of Syracuse passed away Friday. Born in Cambridge, MA he worked as a Truck Driver for DOT Foods. He received a master's degree from Syracuse University and spent most of his life work in service to the community. A veteran of the Navy, Sean was involved with Leah Home School Group.
He is survived by his wife Marcia (Herron) Cronin, five children, Julia (Phillip) Irvine, Adam Cronin, Ben Cronin, Mimi Cronin and Owen Cronin, his mother; Joan (Bailey) Cronin, brothers; Christopher and Gregory Cronin and two sisters; Laurie (Michael) Thomas and Virginia Cronin, nieces, nephews and in-laws and his best friend Jake and Kiddow the cat.
Services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the Believer's Chapel, Thompson Rd., Cicero. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions are being accepted for a college fund being established for Sean's children c/o the Cronin Family and the family would also love you to give blood in Sean's name.
