Scott J. Giles, 64, of Bernhards Bay, went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2024. Scott was born in Oneida, New York on February 21, 1960 to James and Jeannette Giles.
Scott spent most of his life living in the Camden area, and graduated from Camden High School in 1978. After high school he joined the United States Airforce where he studied to be an Air Traffic Controller. He was stationed at Loring Airforce Base in Maine and went on to receive an Honorable Discharge in 1985. Scott worked for Harden Furniture Factory and several fuel companies, including Blue Bar and Liberty Fuels.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time in nature, working on machinery, listening to music, and spending time at Panther Lake boating and fishing. He loved animals, especially his dog, Lexi.
He was preceded in death by Father, James Giles; Mother, Jeannette Giles (Britton); Step-Father, Vernon Britton; and Brother Cole Giles.
He is survived by his Son, Lorne (Elizabeth) Giles; Grandsons, Ilario, and Angelo; Sister, Jennifer Giles; Brother, James Giles Jr.; Nephew, Trevor Folsom; and Niece, Olivia Folsom; and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
