Scott D. Bowman, 49, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 23, 1966 in Utica, son of the late Carolyn Bowman. Scott co-owned S & K Painting for many years, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed camping. Scott was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Debra Lindsey and his close friends; William Chambrone and Mary Starsiak.
Surviving are his longtime companion Sharon Stevens of 29 years, 2 sons; Scott, Jr., Nicholas, daughter, Melissa Bowman, granddaughter, Aubree, 2 brothers; Frank (Gina) Bowman, Stephen Bowman and his sister Staci Bowman (Matt Lynch).
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
