Santo F. Bordonaro

Santo Bordonaro, a lifetime resident of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on March 24, 2011 after a long illness. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.
His parents were born in Italy and came to the United States in the mid 1900's to settle in Syracuse, New York and raise their family in a country with many opportunities. Santo took advantage of those opportunities by attending Potsdam College. He was a Pop Warner coach before he went into business for himself as a Real Estate Agent opening his own agency, Key's Real Estate.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and decorated with many metals and a purple heart.
He was well-liked by all who knew him as a man who was honest, up front and loyal to friends and family. He was predeceased his son, Rick Ryan who passed in 2005. He is survived by 3 daughters and a son; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He suffered a massive heart attack in 1997 and had been cared for by his loving wife Nonie Bordonaro until his passing.
He was a vibrant, energetic, fun loving soul whose family always came first. His motto was "do the right thing" He will be deeply missed by all.
