Sandra A. Rich

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, Sandra “Sandy” A. (Wilson) Rich was called home to our Lord and Savior after a long and complicated battle with cancer.

Sandy was born October 19, 1946 to Robert and Yolanda (Maffei) Wilson of Franklinville, New York. Sandy was born the youngest of four children; Dale, DiAnne, Tony, and herself.

Sandy graduated high school from Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville, New York. After high school she obtained dual Associates Degree’s and entered the retail workforce. Soon thereafter, she would meet her beloved husband, Charles W. Rich.

Sandy was a dedicated wife and loving mother. She spent many years working for the family business and watching her grandchildren. She loved laughing and joking and her smile always lit up the room.

Surviving are her devoted husband of 55 years, Charlie (Bill) Rich; son, Kevin Rich of Liverpool; daughter, Julie (Derek) Persse of Clay and grandchildren; Logan, Justin, and Brandon Persse. Also, her brother, Tony (Sherry) Wilson of Franklinville, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Per Sandy’s wishes, private services will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on April 4, 2025.

The family would like to thank the special care given by her nursing aides and Hospice of CNY who took loving care of her in her final days at home.

Our family is grateful to know that Sandy is finally at peace.
