Sandra Leigh Mitcham

Sandra Leigh Mitcham, 73, fell asleep in death Wednesday May 20, 2020 with family by her side.
Born July 31, 1946 in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Augusta (Zillifro) Lindsay.
She happily married Bruce E. Mitcham on March 25, 1967. Starting in 1969 she had the joy of becoming a mother to her daughter and later two sons, and her family grew as each married. Then in the spring of 2016 her ears delighted to be called Grandma as her grandson, Maverick Mitcham, was born.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce, her children Colleen, Scott, Shawn, Michael, Joy, Astrid, and grandson Maverick along with her sister Marjorie (Martin) Frawley, her brother Thomas (Joyce) Lindsay, nieces and nephews Kate, Rita, Brian, Matthew, and their children.
Although having many talents, including music, sign language, art, photography, sewing, crocheting, the specialty of making apple pies and sharing baked goods; she found delight in serving her God, Jehovah, and zealously sharing the Bible's good news with others being one of Jehovah's Witnesses. (Ps 83:18; Mt 6: 9,10; Re 21:3, 4) Those sure promises become even more personal now to her friends and family.
She had a way of quickly making friendly conversation endearing herself to others. She will long be remembered for her smile, laughter, and neighborliness.
