Sandra J. McCullagh, 72, of Altmar, NY, passed away at home on Monday, December 6th surrounded by her family after a long battle with Colon Cancer. She was born in Cooperstown, NY to Kenneth Tietjen and Shirley Richards. Sandra loved gardening, quilting and reading.
Sandra was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Tietjen and her husband, Gordon McCullagh.
She is survived by her four daughters, Tina (Metott) Barnard, Tami (Metott) Smith, Billie Jo (Mike) Allen and Maggie McCullagh; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; mother, Shirley Bemiss; siblings, Benjamin (Cherie) Tietjen, Joanne (Jeffrey) Eiland, Bruce (Cynthia) Tietjen, Brian (Chris) Tietjen and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 11th at 11AM at the Allen's Florence Hotel, 11940 Osceola Road, Florence, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Williamstown Library, PO Box 4, Williamstown, NY 13493.
