Sandra Lauffer-Atria, 52, Brewerton, NY (formerly of Watertown, NY) Sandra Lauffer-Atria passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday October 8, 2014.
Sandra was born April 9, 1962 in Reno, Nevada and moved to Watertown, NY in 1969. She was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Central in Watertown, NY. Sandra was most recently employed as a Sales Representative by Verizon in Syracuse, NY. Sandra's personal motto was "Be kinder than necessary." She will be remembered for her unconditional love and kindness towards her family, friends and co-workers. Sandra was extremely dedicated to helping animals, having adopted and placed countless dogs and cats over the years. She also enjoyed being creative, cooking and spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived by her daughter Megan French and Megan's husband Adam French and their son Wellen French (Tasmania), her parents Warren and Audrey Lauffer (Brewerton, NY), and her brothers Stephen Lauffer and his wife Carol Lauffer (Phoenix, Arizona), Jeffrey Lauffer and his wife Cheri Lauffer and their children Ethan Lauffer, Ryan Lauffer (Marcellus, NY) Matt Spencer, Melissa Delia (Syracuse, NY) and Kendra Rowland (Chicago, IL), David Lauffer and his wife Amber Lauffer and their daughter Olivia Lauffer (London, United Kingdom).
Calling hours will be 4-8pm Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral Service will be 11am Thursday, also at the funeral home. Burial at North Syracuse Cemetery.
