Sandra J. Klase, 71, of Clay passed away on June 7, 2023. She was born in Syracuse on December 29, 1951.
Sandra went to school in Syracuse to become a Dental Assistant. She worked for a few years as a Dental Assistant until she had her first child. She became a homemaker until her children were old enough to go to school. She went to work at several different dental offices before landing on Syracuse Dental Associates and stayed for 23 years before retiring in 2014. She had a lifelong love of animals, and would try to sneak abandoned cats home. She spent time as a guide for those who wanted to ride horses on the trails at Highland Forest. She was an avid reader who loved mystery books. She spent her retirement taking care of her family, her grandson, and generally making life better for everyone.
Sandra was predeceased by her Parents, Thelma and John Fox.
Sandra is survived by her Husband of 48 years, John J. "Jack" Klase; Children, John D. "J.D." (Amy Kremin) Klase, Matthew Klase; and Grandson, Lennon J. Oliver-Klase.
A Memorial Service will be held for Sandra on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 5:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
