Sandra L. "Sandy" Hunsinger, 76, of E. Syracuse, passed away on Friday at Van Duyn Nursing Home after a brave fight with her illnesses. She was born on June 5, 1939 in Ithaca daughter of the late John and Anita Hunsinger. Sandy retired from Bristol Meyers in 1982. Sandy was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by all. Sandy was never one to complain, she went with the flow, she loved life and had a good sense of humor.
Surviving are her son, Scott Crandall, 2 grandsons; John & Jeremy Crandall, her sisters; Sharron Vogt & Dixie Merilahti, her goddaughter, Rebecca Marino and niece Shelly Jackson, 2 nephews; Brian & Jeff Merilahti, along with her close friend with whom she lived with, Annie Cox & family.
At Sandy's request, there will be no services.
