Sandra Ann Buttenschon, 75, of Clay, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital, after a long illness with her loving family by her side. She was born in Utica, NY on August 12, 1938, to Louis & Grace Buttenschon. She was married to George A, McLoughlin on September 6, 1958, for 50 years. Who preceeded her in 2008. She was a homemaker where she raised 3 sons. Her biggest enjoyment were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially at Christmas.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Walter A (Michelina), James A. (Deborah) and Robert A. (Cheryl) McLoughlin; grandchildren, George A. (Samantha) McLoughlin II, Erin M. (Scott) Shoop, Jamie L. (Adam) Bradley, Patrick A. (Sonya) McLoughlin, Brittany A.McLoughlin, Alan P. Sherman, Crystal M. Sherman, Robert A. McLoughlin Jr. and Nicholas A. McLoughlin; great grandchildren, George A. McLoughlin III, Ryan S. McLoughlin, Joshua A. Lent, Olivia A. Shoop, Carter A. McLoughlin and Logan J. Shoop; 1 sister, Bessie Lotoski; 2 brothers, Richard (Nancy) Buttenschon and Frederick (Alice) Buttenschon; 2 cousins, Sonya (Wesley) Pugh and Ruth (Gerald) LaManque; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York 13212. Services will be Monday, 9 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 8229 South Main Street Cicero, New York 13039. Burial will follow at Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Boulevard, Clay, New York.
She will be greatly missed by all of us.
