Samuel J. Ciciarelli, Sr., 60, of Syracuse, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday. Born to the late Joanne and Leonard Ciciarelli, Sam was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. He graduated from Practical Bible Training School and founded and Pastored Charity Baptist Church.
A generous and caring man, Sam was deeply loved and respected by his family and congregation for his continuous stand for the Lord and His perfect word the King James Bible.
He is survived by his sons, Leonard Ciciarelli III and Samuel (Melisa) Ciciarelli, Jr.; brothers, Joseph, Leonard II (Maria), Michael and James Ciciarelli; sisters, Joanne (Roger) Trombley and Lee Lee (Angelo) Bellavia and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 10AM-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 12PM. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to his children to assist with funeral expenses.
