Samuel Anthony Grainger, 62, of Liverpool, passed away September 15, 2024. He was born in Syracuse, New York on September 6, 1962 to Samuel and Mollie Grainger. Samuel retired from Darden Restaurants, Syracuse. He was lifelong active member of the Church of Christ and a devoted husband and father. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy and sports. He will be truly missed by all. 

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and two brothers. 

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carla Grainger; children, Tamica, Ashley, Devon and Elisha; 3 grandsons; 6 sisters and 2 brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 10-12PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A funeral service will be held at Wetzel Road Church of Christ at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Samuel's memory to Rock Steady Boxing, Syracuse.
