Samuel A. Gendron, 83, of North Syracuse, passed away May 8, 2024.
Samuel was born in Clayville, New York on February 7, 1941 to the late Leo and Mary Gendron.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Samuel owned and operated Sam's Sewing Machine Repair for many years eventually retiring in 2023. In his free time, he restored classic cars, constructed many projects and most of all loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Rotundo Gendron; son, Melvin Gendron; daughter, Tammy Aldridge; brother, Robert North; sister, Julia Howard.
He is survived by his son, Dale (Michele) Gendron; daughter, Samantha (Clinton) Jones; Three grandchildren, Bradley Gendron, Isabella Gendron, Brayden Jones; great grandchild, Zak Gendron; brother, Donald (Sandra) Gendron; As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 13th from 4:00-7:00PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse. Military honors will follow at 7:00PM.
