Sami I. Saba, 85, of North Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday at Crouse Hospital with family by his side. He was born March 31, 1928 in Jerusalem, Palestine. He worked as a salesman in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Sami came to the United States in 1992. He was married to Sultana in 1953. She passed away in 1981. He then married Nouhad in May of 1987. Sami will be missed by all who knew him. He was always known as the "Life of the Party" & to make people laugh. Sami was baptized and married in the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Nouhad, 4 children; Nina, Iskandar, Maggy & Michel, 8 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11-12noon at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY, with services to follow.
