A man with many titles, avid outdoorsman and devoted family man. Known for his witty sarcasm and ability to make anyone laugh. In his later years, he enjoyed his time camping and ATV riding.
Sal is predeceased by his parents, Christina L. Simione and Joseph Simione. His wife, Claire Simione.
Sal is survived by his daughter, Alicia Gerber and her husband, Phillip, his brother, Michael Simione and grandchildren, Seth Gerber and Laura Gerber-Hernandez and her husband, Marc and great-grandson, Samson.
Mass with be held at Sacred Heart Church in Staten Island, New York on August 24, 2024 at 10:30am with a burial to follow.
