Sam A. Fiumara, 70, of N. Syracuse passed away on Wednesday. He was born November 12, 1940 in Syracuse, a son of Salvatore and Elma Fiumara.
He retired from Crouse Hinds after 35 years of service. Sam cherished his grandchildren, enjoyed golfing and playing cards.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, three daughters Bernadine (Michael) Donaldson, Lisa Meyer, Karen (Jim) Brown,six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers, Joseph (Carole), Nicholas (Linda), Nunzio, three sisters, Concetta, Sherri, Camille, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a son, Peter and a daughter, Diane Rinefierd.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY or to the Ronald McDonald House.
