Sadie A. Harris, 88 of Syracuse passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Born in St. Regis Falls, NY she was a Language Teacher for Syracuse University for many years. She is predeceased by her husband Buford M. (Ben) Harris, her parents Isaac and Maggie White, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Sadie is survived by her son Mitchell T. (Yvonne) Curleyhead, two daughters; Patricia I. White and Margaret (Edward) Burnam, 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday at 7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be private. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday from 1-4 PM and on Monday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
