Ruthann Griffiths, 83, of North Syracuse passed away on Friday at home. Ruthann was born on August 26, 1934 in Cortland, daughter of the late Ray A. and Ruth Marie Kniffen. Ruthann worked many years as a waitress at Dinkler's Restaurant and last worked as a home health aide for Visiting Nurses in Syracuse.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Sara Marie Stevens, her brothers, Richard & Raymond Kniffen, sister Rosie Seamans and her niece Sandra Curtis.
Ruthann is survived by her daughter, Diane S. (Ralph) Dishaw, 2 sisters, Brenda Kniffen, Jean Sherman, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services at 7pm.
