Ruth M. (Lupo) Schmidt

Ruth M. (Lupo) Schmidt, 98, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday.
She was born on July 8, 1918 in Pittsburgh, PA and she retired from Syracuse China after working 38 years. She was a member of St. Daniel's Church for many years. She enjoyed quilting and won many awards at the State Fair.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Lupo and her second husband Norbert Schmidt.
Surviving are her children; Soverio (Sam) Lupo, Antoinette (Cookie) Margetin, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday Dec. 2nd from 10-12 noon at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery.
