Ruth J. Campbell, 54, of North Syracuse, passed away Sunday, peacefully with her family by her side from a long battle with ovarian cancer. Ruth was a homemaker who enjoyed the park, long walks with the grandchildren and her dogs. She was quite a lady who loved being with friends and family. She enjoyed music, and she will always be remembered as having a smile on her face and being a strong lady who left us way to soon. Ruth left the angels of the Francis House to be with the angels above.
She is predeceased by her Father Charles Wheeler, Brother Daniel & Sister Sharen.
She is Survived by Two Daughters: Dawn Campbell (Karl Kohler) & Penny Campbell. Mother, Joan Snell Wheeler of Solvay. Sisters: Patty Drogo (Don) of Fulton, Madeline Mathe (Steve) of Camillus, Twin Sister Alice Sherman of Syracuse, Kathy Carroll (Henry) of North Syracuse, Cindy Schnur (Mark) of Brewerton, Karen Malcolm (Russ) of Syracuse, Barbara Samson (Art) of Largo, Florida, Marybeth Robinson (Mark) of Searsy Arkansas. Brothers: Richard of Fulton, Edward of Florida Charles and Andrew of Syracuse, Greg Largo of Florida, William Wheeler (Brenda) Albion, NY. Five Grandchildren: Krystal Campbell (Fiance' Joey Axenfeld), Krystina Campbell & (Boyfriend Jason Walters), Geoffrey Carr, Adrianna Shlotzhauer and Shane Toscano.
1 Great granddaughter: Lilly Jean Axenfeld. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be Friday, 11AM at the North Syracuse Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Loomis Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 9 – 10:30 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
