Ruth H. Schirm, age 78, cherished mother and grand-mother passed away on Thursday after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was Born and raised in Potsdam, NY . She was predeceased by her husband Frank W. Schirm Jr. She is survived by Gary and Darlene Schirm of North Syracuse and Frank W. Schirm III of North Syracuse and Debbie and Don Rowe of Cicero, NY. Two sisters Selma (Morris) Reed and Kathleen Newtown, Nine Grandchildren and Nine Great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Those wishing to make contributions can do so to Hospice of Central New York
