Russell J. Bromfield of Cicero passed away on St. Patrick's Day after a long illness, surrounded by family.
Russ was a local businessman, a veteran of the United States Air Force and former Police Officer with the New Britain, CT Police Department. He enjoyed golf and visiting with friends at the VFW in Largo, FL. Russ loved being surrounded by his children, grandchildren, great grandchild and friends. His favorite pastime was sitting on his swing watching, encouraging and teasing the little ones as they played in the lake.
He will be missed by his children, Laura Hobson, Karen Farley, Russ (Ketra) Bromfield, Terry Bromfield, Dave Bromfield, Mike (Leslie) Bromfield; grandchildren Leah and Danielle Hobson, Dylan Stage, Nicole Farley, Emily Bromfield, Mary, Alexandra and Lauren Bromfield, Ella and Asher Bromfield and great grandchild, Vincent Moro.
