Rufus C Burgess

Rufus "Joe" C Burgess, 81, of Liverpool, passed away June 23, 2018. Rufus was born in Malone, New York on January 15, 1937 to the late Rufus and Marion Burgess. In his free time, he was an avid golfer, card player, and bowler. Joe was a lifetime member of the Baldwinsville VFW. He enjoyed traveling and spending his winters in Sebring, Florida with his wife Maryann. Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Burgess; and is survived by his wife of 57 years; a daughter, Lisa (Tom) Donaldson; son, Scott P (Jody) Burgess; grandchildren, Shannon, Thomas, Ashley, Chelsea, Tyler, Skylyn, and Dylan; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Gary (Becky) Burgess; several nieces and nephews, and his cat, Monique.
