Rudolph P. Aust, Jr.

Rudolph Paul Aust, Jr., 80 of North Syracuse passed away Wednesday. Born in Burlington, Vermont and a veteran of the US Navy, Rudolph worked as an Engineer with General Electric. He was a life member in the Navy Seabee Veterans of America, Island X-19 Syracuse, a member of the American Legion Post #787 in Cicero, member of the Syracuse Pistol Club and a member of the Eastern Lake Ontario Salmon & Trout Association. He is predeceased by his sister Flavia O'Rourke and his brother Paul Aust.
He is survived by his wife; Frances Dragoon Aust, daughters; Kathleen Aust-O'Shea, Janet (Paul) Rosenberg, Cynthia (Michael) Burdick, a brother; Erich Aust, a sister; Martha Aust DiMessa, grandchildren; USN Sr. Chief, Brian O'Shea, Bridget O'Shea, Timothy Rosenberg, Kimberly Schwartz, Ashlee Burdick, David Rosenberg and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Burial will take place in Burlington, Vermont. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse.
