August 3, 2009 Roy Hess Sr., 54, of Liverpool, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. Roy was employed with Crouse Hinds for over 18 years. Roy loved camping and fishing and especially enjoyed playing pranks on everyone. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura (Clookey) in 2004.
He is survived by his children, Roy (Kristina) Hess Jr. of Parish, Carol Ann Hess of Liverpool and Robert (Elicia) Hess of Liverpool; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Walter Kimber and Michael Cummings, both of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, 10 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
